A Change is Gonna Come

The only constant thing in life is change.  Boy is that true these days.  My life is ever evolving and, for the most part, I am ok with that.  There are a few obvious things that I prefer remain the same forever... that is the Peter Pan in me.

So, my latest change is professional.  (And yes, I guess, that makes changing jobs "my thing")

Starting July 20th I will be the new Communications Manager at Pius XI High School.  I am pumped to for this new challenge.  They have never really had a full-time communications person, so there is a lot to do and a lot to learn!  I am most excited to be able to meld my faith and my professional life into one.  I am also excited to be at a school and be able to influence and mentor kids.  (I was almost a teacher you know)

At the same time, I am saying goodbye to my American Heart Association family.  I really enjoyed working at the AHA and all of the opportunities that came my way.  I will especially miss the people, but suspect I will be seeing them throughout the year as their new No.1 volunteer.
